NP Supervision, Portal & Website Use

By accessing our website, portal, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services, website, and client portal provided by Shayna Walker, APRN ("Practice," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing any part of our website at shaynawalkermd.com, our client portal at portal.shaynawalkermd.com, or by entering into a collaborative practice or NP supervision arrangement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1 About Our Services

Shayna Walker, APRN provides the following services:

  • NP supervision and collaborative practice agreement services for licensed Nurse Practitioners
  • Compliance consultation and support for NPs operating across multiple states
  • Access to the NP Client Portal at portal.shaynawalkermd.com, including community channels, shared files, and meeting bookings
  • Monthly compliance meetings via telehealth (20-minute and 40-minute formats)
  • Website resources and informational content at shaynawalkermd.com

These services are intended for licensed healthcare professionals only. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice to patients or the general public.

2 Eligibility

To enter into a collaborative practice or supervision agreement with our Practice, you must:

  • Hold a valid, active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in your state(s) of practice
  • Meet all state-specific requirements for NP supervision or collaborative practice agreements
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering or entering into an agreement

We reserve the right to decline or terminate services if eligibility requirements are not met or if any information provided is found to be inaccurate.

3 Collaborative Practice Agreements

All NP supervision and collaborative practice arrangements are governed by the specific Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) signed between you and Shayna Walker, APRN. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and your signed CPA, the terms of the CPA will control.

Important: Your CPA is a legally binding document. It defines the scope of the collaborative relationship, your obligations, and the conditions under which services may be modified or terminated. A copy of your CPA is accessible through your Portal profile.

You are responsible for ensuring your practice remains compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Our supervision services do not relieve you of your independent professional obligations.

4 Client Portal Use

Access to the Portal at portal.shaynawalkermd.com is provided exclusively to active clients under a signed collaborative practice or supervision agreement. Portal access is personal and non-transferable.

By using the Portal, you agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share access with any third party
  • Use the Portal only for legitimate purposes related to your supervision arrangement
  • Treat all shared resources, documents, and communications within the Portal as confidential
  • Not copy, distribute, or reproduce any content from the Portal without written permission
  • Communicate respectfully within community channels and group spaces

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke Portal access for any violation of these Terms or for conduct that disrupts the community or other users.

5 Bookings and Appointments

Monthly compliance meetings are available through the Portal booking system. When scheduling, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate availability and attend scheduled meetings on time
  • Give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
  • Understand that repeated no-shows or late cancellations may affect your access to scheduling

Appointments are conducted via telehealth. You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection and an appropriate, private setting for each meeting.

6 Fees and Payment

Service fees are outlined in your individual Collaborative Practice Agreement. By entering into an agreement, you authorize us to charge the fees described therein on the schedule specified.

  • All fees are in US Dollars unless otherwise specified in your agreement
  • Late payments may result in suspension of Portal access or services
  • Refund terms, if any, are governed by your individual CPA
  • We reserve the right to update service fees with reasonable advance notice
7 Intellectual Property

All content on shaynawalkermd.com and within the Portal — including text, templates, guides, educational materials, training resources, and community content created by Shayna Walker, APRN — is the intellectual property of the Practice and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, resell, distribute, or repurpose any Practice materials without prior written consent. This includes any templates, compliance checklists, or supervision documentation we provide.

8 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we take care to ensure the accuracy of all information and materials we provide, we make no guarantees that our services will meet every regulatory requirement in every jurisdiction, that portal or website access will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that all compliance-related content is complete for your specific state or practice setting.

Important: Nothing in these Terms or in any materials we provide constitutes legal or regulatory advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your practice complies with the laws and regulations governing your license and your state(s) of practice. We strongly encourage you to consult with a licensed healthcare attorney for state-specific legal guidance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our Practice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or Portal.

9 Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the supervisory or collaborative practice relationship as outlined in the signed CPA. Upon termination:

  • Portal access will be revoked within a reasonable timeframe following termination
  • Any outstanding fees remain due and payable
  • You are responsible for transitioning to a new supervision arrangement and ensuring your continued compliance with state licensing requirements
  • Confidentiality obligations survive termination
10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Clark County, Nevada, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and notify active clients via the Portal or email. Your continued use of our services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
